Ukraine’s IT Exports Hit $540M in August
Ukraine’s IT services exports totaled $540 million in August 2025, according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) cited by the Lviv IT Cluster. The figure represents a 2.7% drop compared to July, bringing in $15 million less month-on-month.

However, on a yearly basis, exports grew by 6.5% ($33 million) compared to August 2024.
Over the first eight months of 2025, cumulative IT export revenue reached $4.3 billion — a modest 1.1% increase from the same period last year, or an additional $46 million.
«Despite the challenges of full-scale war, the Ukrainian tech industry continues to demonstrate remarkable resilience. This year’s IT Arena, Ukraine’s flagship tech event, gathered 6,450 participants from nearly 40 countries. Meanwhile, the Startup Competition — the country’s largest and most prestigious startup contest — reached an unprecedented $15 million investment fund, showing strong global investor interest in Ukrainian technology,» said Stepan Veselovskyi, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster.
In comparison, the total export revenue of all Ukrainian services in August 2025 stood at $1.28 billion — down by $71 million, or 5.2%, from July.
