Ukrainian Aeromotors Raises $550K From Sweden’s Front Ventures at $10M Valuation

Swedish investment firm Front Ventures has invested $550,000 in Aeromotors, a Ukrainian manufacturer of electric motors for drones. The deal was reported by Defender Media.

Deal Details

  • According to Front Ventures CEO Jonas Malmgren, the firm acquired a 5.5% stake in Aeromotors, valuing the company at $10 million.
  • The funding will be used to purchase new equipment and scale production threefold compared to current volumes.
  • Aeromotors CEO Andrii Tyndyk told Defender Media that the company currently produces around 10,000 electric motors per month, including in-house metalworking. The goal is to increase output to 60,000 motors per month.
