Kyivstar TV’s revenue exceeded UAH 1 billion in 2024
The Ukrainian streaming service Kyivstar TV showed a 64% increase in revenue to UAH 1.02 billion in 2024. In 2023, the revenue figure was UAH 652 million. This was reported by Forbes Ukraine.
The publication also provides figures for the three largest Ukrainian streaming services:
- Megogo – 711,000 subscribers
- «Kyivstar TV – 328,000 subscribers
- Sweet.tv – 250,000 subscribers
Kyivstar TV has started investing in the creation of its own original content to attract more viewers. In particular, it is about creating a series called Vitya. The cost of one episode is estimated at UAH 1 million, and the cost of the entire project, including promotion and marketing costs, is up to UAH 1 million.
Over the past 5 years, the platform’s revenue has grown 10-fold in hryvnia: from UAH 105 million in 2020 to UAH 1.02 billion in 2024.
