Ukrainian startup ChoiceQR, which develops automation services for restaurants, has raised €1 million in funding, Forbes reports.

  • The investment, provided by Polish fund Smartlink Partners, comes in the form of a convertible loan. It is part of the startup’s ongoing Series A round, meaning additional investments are expected in the near future.
  • According to its founders, ChoiceQR is nearing profitability in its current markets, with an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $3 million.
  • ​​The company has been operating in Poland since 2022, where it has a local team of over 20 employees, more than 500 paying users, and a total of 2,000 restaurants using its services.

Founded in 2020 by Volodymyr Olyanitskyi and Oleksii Iliash, ChoiceQR offers restaurants a range of digital tools, including online menu creation, CRM solutions, QR-based payments, and more.

The startup is already active in Ukraine, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, and Germany. It is also in talks to expand into Romania, Hungary, and Georgia.

To date, ChoiceQR has raised over $5 million in funding. Its last funding round, in 2024, secured $2.5 million.
