Oppenheimer Acceleration Invests in Ukrainian Startup PanoptesAI
Ukrainian-American fund Oppenheimer Acceleration has invested in the Ukrainian startup PanoptesAI, as reported by Forbes.
- PanoptesAI is developing an AI system that integrates stationary, mobile, and airborne optoelectronic stations, as well as radio-electronic intelligence modules, into a network. «Using artificial intelligence, it identifies, tracks, and predicts the flight trajectories of objects,» says Oleksandr Soroka, co-founder of Oppenheimer Acceleration.
- The investment was made as part of Oppenheimer Acceleration’s first acceleration programme.
- The startup will receive $125,000: $25,000 initially and another $100,000 during the programme.
In addition to the Ukrainian startup, the fund also invested in the American project Sierra Turbines, which is developing engines that can be used in rockets and long-range drones. The investment conditions are the same for both.
Overall, Oppenheimer Acceleration plans to invest up to $2 million in its first batch of startups. Previously, the fund has invested in startups MARA, Bavovna.AI, and Swarmer.
