Roughly 40% of that revenue comes from the IT sector, according to a new <a href=\"https:\/\/ise-group.org\/media_research\/ua2usa\">report<\/a> from the ISE Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll.media highlights the most notable findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Observations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Researchers identified and verified 2,270 Ukrainian-American companies across all 50 states and surveyed a network of more than 45,000 diaspora businesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collectively, these companies generate $55\u201358 billion in annual sales, pay about $24 billion in salaries, and contribute $8\u20139 billion in federal, state, and local taxes \u2014 comparable to the annual budgets of several US states.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The largest labor-market sector is IT, which includes software developers, IT consulting firms, and product engineering companies. The latest wave of Ukrainians arriving due to the war (2014\u20132025) faces similar constraints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Still, early indicators suggest strong entrepreneurial potential: surveys indicate that many were business owners or self-employed individuals in Ukraine before the war.
