Flyer One Ventures in 2025: New Fund, $160M Exit, and Portfolio Growth

The team at Ukrainian investment firm Flyer One Ventures shared its year-end results with Scroll.media.

Investments. In 2025, Flyer One Ventures (F1V) invested in 10 new startups, including memoryOS, Limitless, and Heizma. The firm also made three follow-on investments. International venture investors, including Sequoia Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round Capital, Greylock Partners, and Speedinvest, participated in the same funding rounds. Over the course of the year, eight companies from F1V’s portfolio raised more than $110 million in additional funding.

New fund. In 2025, Flyer One Ventures launched Fund V with a target size of €50 million. The firm plans to invest this capital in pre-seed and seed-stage startups across Central and Eastern Europe over the next five years. Its current investment pipeline includes more than 1,300 founders from Ukraine and the broader region who are building startups worldwide.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have already joined the new fund. The EBRD committed €6.5 million, with the option to increase its allocation to €10 million, while the IFC committed an additional €5 million.

«Previously, we mainly worked with Ukrainian startups. Now we are positioning ourselves as an investor focused on Central and Eastern Europe,» said Flyer One Ventures Managing Partner Vital Laptenok. «We have become much more international.»

In 2026, Flyer One Ventures plans to focus on enhancing the effectiveness of its investment activities and further strengthen its emphasis on pre-seed-stage companies. Priority sectors remain enterprise SaaS, health tech, construction, logistics, AI, and fintech.
