Three Ukrainian DeepTech Startups Share €30,000 in Grants
At Deep Tech Pitch Night in Lviv, organized by EU4Innovation East and EIT Community Hub Ukraine on the eve of IT Arena, three Ukrainian startups were awarded grants totaling €30,000:
- 3rd place (€5,000): Peony — biodegradable menstrual pads
- 2nd place (€10,000): SYLA — innovative knee prostheses
- 1st place (€15,000): A42 — a platform for monitoring and detecting cyber threats
About the Event
- Deep Tech Pitch Night is a dedicated showcase of Ukraine’s deep-tech potential.
- Held in parallel with IT Arena and organized in partnership with EIT Community Hub Ukraine and Lviv IT Cluster, the event brought together investors, startup founders, and ecosystem leaders.
- As the evening concluded, startups from the EIT Founders2Founders program pitched their solutions to the audience. The top three were selected based on the strength of their presentations.
- EU4Innovation East is funded by the European Union, co-financed by the French government, and implemented through Expertise France.
