Revolut has notified Ukrainian users that their accounts will be closed within the next two months. This was reported to Scroll.media by readers who received an official notification from the company.

According to the letter, the decision is linked to regulatory constraints:

«Due to local regulatory requirements, we are forced to inform you that we will no longer be able to provide our services to residents of Ukraine.»

Although we are currently unable to provide services to residents of Ukraine, we intend to resume them in the future and will notify you if the situation changes.»

Users were informed that their Revolut accounts will be closed on February 22, 2026.

What You Need to Know

Before your account is closed, you should:

• Withdraw any remaining funds from your account.
• Download your account statements — you may need them for your records or to provide to other financial institutions in the future.

After February 22, 2026, your account will be closed and you will only be able to withdraw any remaining funds via an external bank transfer.

Once the account is closed, you will no longer be able to:

• top up your account;
• make card payments or withdraw cash from ATMs;
• send funds to other accounts.

If you have paid for a tariff, any unused portion will be refunded if the account is closed before the services are used.

Payments after closure: Any payments or transfers sent to the account after February 22, 2026, will be automatically rejected and returned to the sender.
