According to Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrainian defense tech startups raised over $105 million in grants and investments in 2025.

• In 2024, the total was around $60 million, 70% of which came from grants. This year, however, the situation has shifted: Ukrainian startups are attracting increasing amounts of funding from venture funds and private investors.
• In 2025, more than 50 Ukrainian startups secured private investments.
• Fedorov noted that the $105 million raised by Ukrainian defense startups represents roughly one-third of all early-stage defense tech investments in Europe. In 2025, the total volume of Pre-seed, Seed, and Series A funding in Europe, including the UK, reached $200 million.

According to market participants who shared information with Scroll.media, not all investments are made public, particularly large funding rounds. A significant portion is kept confidential for security reasons, though the amounts are known within the market. Some of the largest publicly disclosed rounds include:
