Quantum Systems to Raise €150M, Valuation Could Triple

Quantum Systems, a German defense tech company, is preparing to raise a new investment round that could triple its valuation, Reuters report.

  • The round is reportedly worth €150 million (about $175 million).
  • Earlier this year, in May 2025, the drone manufacturer raised €160 million, bringing its total funding to more than €310 million.
  • Quantum Systems is currently valued at over €1 billion, but its valuation could rise to around €3 billion if the new round goes through.
  • The company’s revenue is projected to reach €300 million in 2025 and exceed €500 million in 2026.
  • A second, larger funding round is also planned for 2026, which could push the company’s valuation to €5 billion.

The fresh capital will reportedly go toward M&A activity — Quantum plans to acquire other drone manufacturers and technology startups — as well as research and development.

Interest in Quantum Systems has surged following a series of drone-related incidents that disrupted operations at major airports, highlighting the company’s relevance. Quantum has developed its own drone interceptor designed to neutralize such threats.

Quantum Systems is already well-known in Ukraine, where its drones are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The company also manufactures drones for the local market. It employs around 550 people across offices in Germany, Ukraine, Romania, and Australia.

In addition, Quantum Systems has invested in the Ukrainian defense tech startup Frontline. While the investment amount was not disclosed, it is known that Quantum acquired a 10% stake in the startup and became its strategic partner.
