MITS Capital Launches MITS Industries to Drive Defense-Tech Growth
Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has announced the launch of MITS Industries, a new Danish-incorporated company aimed at transforming Ukraine’s defense technology market and strengthening European security. According to a press release, the firm expects MITS Industries to generate more than $200 million in revenue in 2026.
The new Danish-incorporated company MITS Industries is intended to serve as an investment platform for the Ukrainian defense technology market and to strengthen European security. Its goal is to bring together leading Ukrainian manufacturers of components for ‘drone warfare.’
«Denmark is an ideal partner for Ukraine. Both countries share a common heritage, enemy, and values. By combining Danish capital and technology with Ukraine’s large and innovative defense-industrial base, we strengthen European defense against Russian aggression,» said Perry Boyle, co-founder and CEO of MITS Capital and chairman of MITS Industries.
Headquartered in Copenhagen and Kyiv, MITS Industries will consolidate Ukrainian defense-tech companies across five key segments:
- unmanned ground systems (UGVs),
- counter-drone solutions,
- unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs),
- unmanned surface and underwater vehicles (USVs/UUVs),
- signals intelligence and electronic warfare (SIGINT & EW) systems.
The initial portfolio includes:
- Tencore, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of unmanned ground robots;
- Infozahyst, a prominent Ukrainian producer of signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems with more than 20 years of experience;
- Unwave, one of Ukraine’s largest electronic warfare companies;
- And an unnamed Ukrainian UAV manufacturer.
MITS Capital will serve as both coordinator and investor.
«This is just the beginning. MITS Industries will create major opportunities for scaling capacity and boosting revenues, while serving as a platform for further mergers and acquisitions. We expect it to become one of Europe’s leading defense companies within a few years,» said Denys Gurak, co-founder and CIO/COO of MITS Capital.
MITS Industries will operate under a «drone-as-a-service» model, enabling the scalable production of advanced drones and counter-drone technologies to neutralize air, land, and sea threats.
The structure is also intended to enhance export potential and improve access to institutional capital. According to Ukraine’s government, the country’s defense industry production capacity is expected to exceed $35 billion in 2025. Private production already surpasses domestic demand, creating excess capacity and accelerating export readiness.
