Ukrainian Vibecoding Startup Metatable Raises $100,000
Ukrainian startup Metatable has secured $100,000 in funding from an angel investor, according to YEP Accelerator, whose program the company previously joined. The investor’s name has not been disclosed.
What’s Known
- Metatable is building a platform that leverages AI agents to streamline key stages of development — from drafting technical requirements and breaking them into tasks to writing code and designing databases. The team also offers ready-to-use server infrastructure to help projects launch faster.
- The newly raised capital will be directed toward product development and marketing. Priorities include releasing a new version of the platform, attending international industry events, running targeted ad campaigns, and expanding the team with specialists in marketing, product management, and development.
- In 2024, Metatable tested its product in real-world business scenarios, running paid pilot projects with several companies. These efforts brought in more than $30,000 in revenue and attracted over 4,000 registered users.
- Still, the platform remains in beta. In 2025, the team is undertaking a major rewrite of the codebase and reworking the system architecture to better meet market demands.
«Our immediate challenge is the release of the updated platform. After that, we will return to aggressive commercialization and scaling. In the next 6–12 months, we aim to transform from a promising startup into a serious player in the Vibe Coding tools market,» said CEO Yaroslav Dzoma.
- Metatable is a graduate of YEP Accelerator, which also played a key role in connecting the startup with its first investor in 2024. Through the accelerator, the team showcased its product at major events including TechChill, Web Summit, and Viva Tech.
- According to Dzoma, the platform targets small, medium, and large businesses, specifically focusing on professionals who can clearly define business requirements but lack programming skills.
«In 2025, the Vibe Coding trend is gaining momentum — an approach where complex software is created not through manual coding but through interaction with AI models. It’s mostly used for indie and personal projects, but we’re confident this wave will also reach the business segment. We already see strong demand for such tools from innovative teams,» Dzoma noted.
