Jakub Karoń to Lead Nova Post
Nova Post has appointed Jakub Karoń as CEO of its Polish operations — the company’s first time bringing in a local executive to a top leadership role. The decision marks a key step in Nova’s strategy to expand its international presence across the European market, the company told Scroll.media.
«For the first time, we have invited a local manager to a top position in our company. This is an important step and at the same time a new challenge — both linguistic and cultural. But it is precisely such changes that confirm the group’s ongoing transformation: from a national business to an international company,» said Viacheslav Klymov, co-owner of Nova.

Experienced Logistics Executive
- Karoń brings extensive experience in logistics, transport, and production. He previously held leadership positions at FF FRACHT (CEO) and Kulton Transport (COO).
- His expertise spans strategy development, sales and marketing management, business process optimization, and building partnerships in international markets.
«My goal is to strengthen the company’s position in the Polish market, expand its share in international courier shipments, and introduce new services. A separate focus will be the development of e-commerce: both in cross-border transportation between Poland and Ukraine, and in the domestic and wider European markets,» Karoń said.
- Nova Post has been operating in Poland since October 2022, making it the company’s first international market following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
- Poland remains Nova’s largest foreign network, with 50 branches in 31 cities covering all 16 voivodeships.
- Thanks to partnerships with local logistics providers, customers also have access to 25,000 inPost parcel lockers.
Personnel changes continue across the entire NOVA Group. Recently, it was announced that Andrii Kryvoshapko, who had been CEO of NovaPay for nine years, is leaving the company. A successor will be appointed this fall, but the identity of the new leader has not yet been disclosed.
In June 2025, the Ukrainian media reported that Nova Poshta’s management was carrying out a radical downsizing of its marketing and communications teams. Several dozen employees were affected, including Olena Plakhova, the group’s Director of Reputation Management, who joined the company in 2020.
According to Scroll.media, this was only the first wave — the group plans large-scale changes that could also affect other executives and top managers.
