N-iX Hit Again in Russian Attack
On the night of August 21, Russia carried out another massive attack on Ukraine, striking eight regions across the country. According to N-iX employees who spoke to Scroll.media, the building housing one of the company’s offices was hit. No N-iX staff were injured.
The attack targeted the Electron concern facility, which houses the N-iX office.
The Lviv Regional Military Administration reported that the nighttime strikes damaged 26 residential buildings, one kindergarten, the enterprise’s administrative building, and the local court administration. The toll has risen to three victims: two wounded and one killed.
Other regions affected by the attacks included Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Dubno, Cherkasy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Transcarpathia, with Mukachevo being the hardest hit.
This is the second time the Electron building and the N-iX office have been targeted, following a strike in July.
