Ukrainian-American StackBooster Raises $100K from ZAS Ventures

Ukrainian-American startup StackBooster, which develops tools to optimize cloud infrastructure and applications, has secured $100,000 from venture capital firm ZAS Ventures.

  • The funding is part of the company’s ongoing pre-seed round, which now totals $230,000.
  • Alongside ZAS Ventures, several angel investors joined the round, including entrepreneur and investor Volodymyr Lebediev, who previously invested $100,000 and later came on board as a co-founder.
  • StackBooster plans to invest in product scaling and sales funnel improvements, with projected ROI as the key benchmark.
  • The team is also preparing to launch a $2 million seed round later this year.

«We are currently focused on preparing for a large $2 million fall seed round, and this investment is a bridge that will help us reach the next level,» said Alex Sharabudinov, StackBooster co-founder.

  • According to ZAS Ventures, its collaboration with StackBooster lasted over a year and a half, ultimately leading to the decision to back the startup.

«StackBooster’s innovative agent-based AI for Kubernetes, providing real-time autonomous optimization, predictive scaling, and unbreakable resilience, opens a new era of hyper-efficient cloud operations,» said Andrew Zinchuk, co-founder of ZAS Ventures. «It enables engineering teams to innovate at breakneck speed while cutting costs and environmental impact. This is the foundation for a world where infrastructure anticipates needs, scales infinitely, and drives exponential growth — that’s why we’re proud to support StackBooster’s path to revolutionizing global computing.»

  • StackBooster already counts dozens of active customers, including AI Mentor Lana, HeyLink.me, RebelBots, Effie Ukraine, KodeLink, and AsTime. Its pipeline also features some of the largest telecommunications and document management systems in Ukraine and abroad.

About Stackbooster

  • Stackbooster solves one of the most pressing problems of modern tech companies — inefficient use of cloud resources. Their AI platform allows companies to reduce cloud costs by up to 80%, automating both vertical scaling within applications and horizontal scaling between cluster nodes. Under the hood is their own ML orchestration that allocates resources in real time, preventing downtime or excessive capacity usage.
  • The company was founded by two Ukrainians: Alex Sharabudinov, a serial entrepreneur with five startups under his belt and experience scaling technical teams to over 1,500 developers, and Volodymyr Lebediev, an AWS cloud infrastructure expert who built a consulting firm with over 50 certified engineers.
