Ukrainian product company airSlate has appointed a new CEO. Borys Shakhnovych, who led the company for 13 years, has been replaced by co-founder Vadim Yasinovsky, who returns to the role he held for the first six years after founding airSlate in 2008. The news was reported by the Telegram channel Підслухано в ІТ.

• The channel shared a screenshot of a message Yasinovsky sent to the entire airSlate team via Slack on July 9, announcing that he officially resumed his position on July 7.

«Leadership Transition The Board of Directors wants to let you know that there has been a transition in senior leadership at airSlate. Borya is no longer serving as President and CEO. We sincerely thank Borya for his contributions to airSlate and wish him the best in the future. We are pleased to let you know that Vadim, airSlate’s co-founder, has stepped into the role of President and CEO, effective July 7 2025. You will be hearing more from Vadim soon,» the message reads.

• airSlate (formerly PDFfiller) specializes in business process automation, including e-signatures and document management solutions. In 2022, the startup raised $51.5 million from G Squared and UiPath Ventures, achieving a $1.25 billion valuation and unicorn status.
• As of 2024, airSlate reported 100 million users and 900,000 customers.
• However, over the past year and a half, the company has undergone several waves of layoffs as part of optimization efforts. In October, airSlate cut about 100 positions across various locations, including its Ukrainian office. In January 2025, another 20 employees were laid off.
• The reason behind the leadership change has not been disclosed, and no financial difficulties have been reported.
